The Urban Financial Services Coalition of Greater Cincinnati (UFSC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization of minority professionals in the financial services industry. Professional Development Speaker Series provides education for both the seasoned professional and the entry-level employee. Frequent topics include leadership, conflict resolution, maintaining and developing wealthy client relationships, and business etiquette.
Members benefit from nationwide networking - sharing experiences with persons at all levels of management and with individuals of diverse expertise including executives, mid-level managers, students, and community development administrators. UFSC leverages it well-established nationwide network to assist corporate partners in achieving their recruiting, retention, workforce diversity and community investment goals.
UFSC Cincinnati is an Alliance member of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation’s (FDIC) Money Smart Partnership Program. The UFSC/FDIC Alliance has trained dozens of UFSC members and community leaders. These certified trainers are armed to educate consumers about basic financial needs, such as developing banking relationships, establishing credit, owning homes, refinancing, retirement planning, investing and money management. |
